Situated in Riga's centre this temporary pavilion was Riga - European Capital of Culture 2014 information centre. It functioned as a stage, coffee house, library, conference and workshop space, cinema, temporary TV studio and a garden. Pavilion's purpose was to gather people, to inform and encourage them to take part in culture activities. Simple, transparent and modular scaffolding structure that supports various functional and visual needs was integrated into park atmosphere. Adapting to the weather conditions it could be transformed into “greenhouse”, shaded pergola, closed tent or open space deck.

Pavilion operated from June 2013 until September 2014.
